About the Founder:

Timescape Productions was founded by Scott Black as a one-man freelance multimedia production company after completing several initial independent projects for people. Timescape was designed to help people with small projects in video, audio, and web design.

Scott grew up in Mount Pleasant, SC (near Charleston). He attended Charleston County School of the Arts, where he was a band major and participated in the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble, and also participated in the Charleston Youth Symphony. He was a member of the SC All State Band three times, and the SC Region Band 2 times. In addition to percussion, he studied piano for a number of years.

Scott is currently a 19 year old sophomore at Furman University in Greenville. He is in the Bachelor of Music Theory and Composition program and studies percussion there as well. In addition to his studies, he is employed by the Furman University Computing and Information Services, where he works as a help desk student staff member.

Current loves of his are Star Trek, science fiction in general, classical music and movie scores, and of course audio/video production and web design. He also enjoys composing music in his free time. Scott is also an active member of a Christian production company based in Charleston, SC called His Road Productions.

Timescape Productions currently moves between Greenville and Charleston because he attends classes at Furman in Greenville, and visits home during breaks in Charleston.
